Many youths in Nepal are addicted to drugs. Due to depression, Anxiety, low confidence, poverty and for fun people are into drugs.
There is no any connection between Hiphop and drugs but Hiphop potrays the society and drugs addiction is in society therefore many rappers are talking about drugs in their song.
Nepali rappers and drug relation is one of the most talk of the town. It is being said that there is deep relation between the Nepali rappers and drugs. It is also found that the most of the mainstream Nepalese rappers are talking about drugs stuff. The fact is that not all the rapper’s are drugist, first of all they have their own personal life and secondly, they have right to live their life. In other hand drugist are human beings but not rappers. The concept of having rappers in mind while talking about drug should be eradicated.
In recent days , Rapper Asis Rana A.K.A Laure has been in custody in case of brown suger. Media is highlighting Asis Rana as being a Rapper, he is into drugs. They potraying Rap song as a drug promoter which is totally disrespectful towards hiphop. Drug addiction is the personal choice and anyone can be into it. Hiphop teaches about the bad impacts , and always tallk about the positive vibes and energy . It also potrays the real face of society and teaches how can we get rid of the bad energy and addiction .
